How It Works

By joining as a member of COIN, either as an Investor or an Entrepreneur, you will be kept informed of opportunities to attend entrepreneur presentations and gain access to information and resources about investing locally, building a solid business plan, local funding options, and other services and information.

For Investors

If you want to support your community and are interested in helping local entrepreneurs build toward their business goals and grow our local economy, COIN is a great way to get involved.  You may be able to find other ROI options elsewhere, but investing locally also comes with positive ROI, including the great feeling you get when you know that you’ve helped make a difference for your community.

For Entrepreneurs

Funding for your big dreams and ambitious business plans can be difficult to obtain, no matter how hard you work or how solid your business opportunity or plan may be, especially if your capital needs are less than $25,000.  COIN can potentially help you by providing opportunities to present about your business to local investors, meet local investors who might be interested in helping, and by providing you information and services to increase your chances of success.

COIN activities do not and shall not constitute an offer to sell, or the solicitation of an offer to buy, securities or any other investment or financing opportunity, document, or vehicle.

In making an investment or financing decision, investors or financiers must rely on their own examination of the issuer or maker, and the terms of the offering or other transaction or transaction documentation, including the merits and risks involved.

Each prospective investor or financier should consult his or her own professional advisors as to the legal, tax, financial or other matters relevant to the suitability of any investment or financing transaction or transaction documentation for such investor or financier.
